PBLI Guidelines
As part of the family medicine rotation, you will need to present a PBLI topic to be researched and presented during the rotation. Ideally your clinical question results from an encounter you had with an actual patient.
Your presentation should be a maximum of 12 minutes, allowing 2-3 minutes for questions at the end of the presentation. Following the "ideal PBLI" template will allow you to cover all the content in the 12-minute time limit.
PBLI presentations were previously held via ZOOM on two separate Tuesdays of each rotation with all students in the rotation participating. Now, each site will designate time during the 5-week clerkship for students to present their PBLI presentation in person. Staff at each site will evaluate your presentation and then one staff member (Site Director or faculty so assigned) will submit a cumulative evaluation for the student.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Sherman at 330-325-6172 or email to mas@neomed.edu.
