Conferences with Dr. Brophy

You are required to complete online cases through fmCASES. 

These cases are accessed in the same way that you completed the online case for orientation. Information on accessing these cases is available on AIMS in the Step 4CC F09 course. Click on Resources, then click on Clerkship Information 
and  click on MedU site access to obtain this information.

Specifically, you are required to complete one case from each of the following topic areas:
  
Meeting #1 (Orientation) with Dr. Brophy
Male and female health maintenance
Complete assigned case #1 or #2

Meeting #2 (Goal Setting) with Dr. Brophy
Common chronic diseases
Complete either case #6 or #8
Complete your Student Profiles

Meeting #3 (Midterm Evaluations) with Dr. Brophy
Mental health issues 
Complete either case #3 or #9
Complete your Midterm Self-Evaluation
​One NBME Family Medicine practice exam with results
 
Meeting #4 (Final Evaluations) with Dr. Brophy
Musculoskeletal diseases 
AND
Child health care 

Complete either case #4, #10, #11 or #25
AND
Complete either case #12, #21, #23 or  #24 

Complete your Final Self-Evaluation
Submit a copy of your SmilesForLife
Submit your Palliative Care/Hospice Essay
 
NOTE: Two (2) cases are due for the final meeting with Dr. Brophy
  
Your clerkship site director may also give you specific instructions about researching one or more of these cases in preparation for a student conference. 

To verify completion of these cases, print out the verification sheet you receive and give it to your clerkship site director.
